This property is present in all form controls that are capable of submitting form values. If after submission it is determined that the control submitted an invalid value, an error message is displayed to indicate the problem. You can use this property to set a name that will be used to refer to the control within the error message.
If a value is not specified for this control, the value of the Name property above is used by default. However, since control names are often cryptic by nature, it is advisable to set a more readable caption which will better help the user understand what the error message is referring to.
