Validation Text Property

Specify the text that will be displayed if the data entered in the control does not meet the validation rule.

Checkbox, Checkbox List, Hidden, List Box, Radio Button, Text Area, Text Box

Description

This property is related to the Validation Rule property and is used to specify an error message that will be displayed in case the validation rule is not satisfied.

Important: If the Validation Rule property is not set, the property text is not shown and the following warning message is shown in the Message Window: "Warning: TextBox DateFiled: The Validation Rule property is empty."
