CodeCharge Studio

Project Overview

Any work performed in CodeCharge Studio must be done within a Project. Basically, a Project is a container for the different pages that make up the site. The Project properties specify how the pages will be published as well as other settings such as security settings and default formats. Clicking on the project name within the Project Explorer window will expose the project properties under the Data tab of the Properties window. Note that a project does not have any properties under the Format or Event tabs. In addition, most of the project properties can be accessed using the Project -> Settings... menu option that opens the Project Settings window.

The project properties shown in the Properties window may be different depending on the programming language being used. For instance, when using Perl, one of the project properties involves specifying the location of the Perl executable. Obviously, this property is not available when using other languages other than Perl.
